The International BaBhaSi Film Festival’s award ceremony was recently organized in the auditorium of Vishwa literature Kendra in the capital. Director and video editor Momin Sarkar served as the jury board in the event.
The Bangladesh-Bharat-Singapore (BaBhaSi) trilateral film festival has so far received 120 films from within and outside the country. 50 out of 120 were selected for the second round after preliminary observation by the jury board. Then 10 films from the 50 films of the second round will be selected for the final round.

Regarding the feeling of being involved in this event, Momin Sarkar said, “It is a great honor for me to get the opportunity to be the Jury Board of the International Babhasi Film Festival 2022-2023.” As a director it is also a matter of pride for me.

Babhasi Film Festival awards this year for the best screenwriter, producer, artist, cinematographer, makeup artist, art director, editing and background music score.

Every year Babhasi provides that opportunity to develop the talents of freshers according to their work qualifications. With this conviction, the International Babhasi Film Source has been organizing every year. After 6 years, Babhasi came out in 7 years, Babhasi really set a milestone and a unique example. Here the former winners are currently performing well in the media and advancing on their merits.
